Noteworthy watermelon and white hot chocolate enthusiast, Tyler Budd has been known to tantalize audiences with his linguistic promiscuity, cunning and overall great looks. When not busy writing, finding contributors and editing for the SpotlightMag.ca (this never actually happens) he holds the position of VP Internal at Nipissing University Student Union, working diligently on the Social Networking site and dealings with any academic grievances and discrepancies students may have.Tyler’s personal life remains ominous and shrouded in darkness, insisting that,”The best of him is still hidden up his sleeve”; however, it is more likely that he is referring to his ‘gamer tag’ while playing Call of Duty. Anyways, we are lucky and happy to have him !

Marketing, IT & Communication Manager // Martin Moreau
Vindicated by a long-term knee injury he sustained during horseback riding camp at the age of sixteen, Martin has of recent turned his drive and focus away from the sport, to provide greater insight into his new life as an aspiring playwright and thespian. Although extremely busy with his duties as Marketing, IT & Communications Manager ( A glorified title for ‘he fixes things when their broken’) at the Student Centre, luckily he somehow finds the time to produce some of the sick artwork and design on the website.

Good natured, ill tempered and well versed in the art of ranting; Denis is using all three to bring entertaining articles, as well as a creative eye to the magazine. Driven to inform and enthuse, he brings non-contemporary style with a humble nature and passion to make those around him laugh, and maybe learn something along the way. Along his travels he has seen the reaches of Europe from the Emerald Isle to the northern reaches of Scandinavia, Japan and South Korea to a grudgingly enjoyed stint in a detainment room in Chicago airport. From the western bows of Canada, he shows passion for travel and his journey continues in the pages written for Spotlight Magazine. His eye and mind for creative integrity proves him to be an important cog in the wheel that is this magazine.

Canadore College has yet again produced three extraordinarily ‘gifted’ individuals from their Journalism-Film Program. ‘Behind Three Roses’ is the sadistic comedic brain-child of students Anthony Kellner, Kyle Mywaart, and Colby Clarke. Their extreme dedication to overtly awkward situations and impeccable taste for fine dining have been known to disenfranchise even the toughest of critics!
